Unit 2: Describing Motion
     In unit 2 you will begin your study of motion by learning about frames of reference, displacement, velocity and acceleration. The term physicists use to describe motion without concern about its cause is kinematics. Both units 2 and 3 deal with kinematics. By the end of unit 3 you will be well-versed in these ideas and be ready to look beyond the description of motion and investigate why a state of motion changes in Unit 4.
