Unit 10: Electrodynamics
A few years ago, an acqaintance, knowing that I was a physics teacher, asked me to explain the phenomenon of electricity. After a few minutes, I saw that he was not following what I thought was a clear and simple set of ideas on which an understanding of electricity is based. As a teacher, I was disappointed in not fulfillng his wish. But afterward, I realized that jumping into something that can be easliy understood with the necessary prerequisite knowledge, will likely not be understood when a foundation of understanding has not been layed. So, as you begin your study of electrodynamics, with preliminary knowledge of electrostatics now learned, and step by step resources at your disposal, I am confident that you will not only understand what electricity is, but also be able to analysize simple electrical circuitry in a meaningful way.
